As a division of the Work Progress Administration, the National Youth Administration was created on 26 June 1935. It was a call to action for for not only the increasing unemplyment rate, but the the rejection of youth from entering the labor market and denying them opportunity to attain or upgrade skills. President Franklin D. Roosevelt was inspired by his wife, Eleanor, to device useful work for the almost 2.8 million youths who were on relief.

What is our purpose? This program is to provide jobs for the youth so they become useful in a certain are of work or to help them persuit a bright future. We also care about the youths' education therefore leaing us to create the Works Project Program and Student Aid Program, which equalized our main two focuses: work and educationa mong the youth,

Where will our programs be used?
Since the emplyment rate decreasing was and is still pervasive, the NYA will be available almost anywhere. It will allow the youth to receive vocational training, find work, or afford a better education.
We will achieve our goal by making more jobs pertaining to our certain circumstaces, such as if a war breaks out, out focus will turn to war-related jobs. Other than that, we provide students with grants in exchange for wark in libraries, schools, etc.
