To prevent the unemployed youth from growing, we have decided to create jobs for the youth from ages 16-25. NYA will intiate work-study which provides grants for those working in high schools and college. The scholars will work in libraries, school laboratories playgrounds(ect.) at $6 to $40 a month. The out-of-school program will provide on the job training for their future careers as they work in recreation, health care, metal and woodworking, office work and more.
NYA will help the U.S.out of the Depression by giving the college and out-of-school workers federally trained work classes and skills to the next generation to use in their future careers. As the college and out-of-school workers get payed, they will raise their money to buy food, clothes, homes, and ect., thus boosting the economy as the thousands begin to circulate the money again. The training will help the students do their jobs more effectively than the last generation, making their works, such as construction, woodmaking and so on, more valuable and more likely to be consumed. Reform
As the youth work under the NYA's programs, they will be guided to find work as well as receive job training to apply in their future careers. Educating them this way will show them how to successfully keep, spend, and invest their money based to all future bankers and any who ask of how the Depression began. As the majority youth begin to spend the money they make in their jobs, the more money will circulate. Although the program will be temporary for the youth until they join the work force, NYA will remain a permanent program to continue to help and educate the future generations for years to come.
